Chromoly steel frame with some extras I have delivered: brake wire routed thru top tube, gear shifters, bespoke front rack and painted mudguards. Equiped with Campy Veloce
Working on vintage bicycles makes me feel the excellence once given to. Vintage bicycles must be taken extra care of. Sometimes tube needs to be replaced, crack to be brazed or just properly restore it so the frame will last some time again. This Atala was painted with brush in black colour, parts rusted altogether the bike looked very bad. I then pulled the bike apart and frame stripped from paint. I have then polished lugs and masked them so I could do painting. It was not easy job but the result made me feel good at the end. If you are interested you can view more photos and some details at Steel Roadies web site.
Bike was built out from mtb frame. Rear triangle was extended by horizontal dropouts and front fork worked out by fliping the dropouts as it was due to mounting disc brake boss. Integrated handlebars were built out of steel flat bars and seat lug. Altogether very nice city ride with comfortable 2" Big Apple tyres.
29er wheelset deliver some extra comfort and that is what I always keep on my mind. Make it comfy - reliable and clean. As standard I have added few braze-ons, gear shifters on top tube and head tube replaced for bigger diameter. All then painted in matt black.
For the girl who dedicates herself to Punk, mountains and bike. Existing frame KTM Strada CR Columbus Aelle pipes equped with Campy Mirage and bespoke stem.
City bike for Art Design Gallery in Bratislava.
MTB frame delivering some custom work as: Bosses for gear levers, hand made guides for wires, custom front fork, brake wire tunnel in TT, hand made handle bars and rack. Paint was done in few phases. Since I was not in rush with it I could take the time with collecting Campagnolo components in NOS condition of 80's: Campagnolo Centaur hubs, Olympus front and rear derailleurs, C-Record pedals, brake calipers and gear shifters. Bike is very comfortable, true eye catcher and in the same time provides plenty of storage to go for some nice picknick in Low Carpaths.
Atala Record from the early 80's frame restoration. Frame was in good condition with some rusted chips and cracked seat lug wich was brazed and repaired. After the galvanization I have masked the lugs, painted and hand cut vynil decals. Roadie will be built on Campy Record component set so the pictures will be updated later on.
